 TANNA SANDMAN paper, Tanna coffee, ink 2016 In central north Tanna Island Vanuatu and in all other villages in the Melanesian country’s the people told each other custom story’s.These story’s explain there history, natural phenomenon, human behavior and there spirit life around them. The tanna sandman represent a human kind which was created by a powerful wind on the beach from north east Tanna. Sadly in this days the people don’t tell these story’s more each other and just really few people recorded some. I have it for the people and my self as a mission to write them down draw them and share a part of human history. |
